The ,,Nanoluka’’ Team, led by Assistant Professor from the Faculty of Elelctrical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka Aleksandar Pajkanović, PhD, is the winner of this year’s Competition for the Best Technological Innovation in the Republic of Srpska.
Assistant Professor Pajkanović says that this innovation refers to a special learning tool strictly intended for a better way of lecturing in the field of analogue electronics.
,,We have come up with an efficient way of facilitating the students, secondary school pupils, as well as others interested in it, with practical examples to learn the basic of electronics at their own homes without putting too much efforts in it’’, Pajkanovič announced, and this can be found on the web page of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska.
The winning innovation, also called "Nanoluka", consists of four printed circuit boards, each of which serves as a practical example of one of the four most important concepts of electronics - nanoplates.
President of the competition jury and Director of the Innovation Centre Drago Gverić reminded that the competition had started in March and that, out of 16 teams that applied for the competition, after training and reviews, the six best teams remained in the finals.
,,This competition aims to promote market-valued innovations and technological accomplishments by encouraging the innovators to develop their ideas into successful business models. Nowadays, members of some of the teams, who have passed the training and participated in this competition, run successful businesses based on the innovative product’’, Gverić said.
Competitions for the best technological innovation in the Republic of Srpska was held for the 14th time and is the result of the Memorandum on Cooperation of two ministries and the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, representing the most long-term common activity of the two governments.
This year’s monetary fund of the Competition for the Best Innovation was BAM 50,000, and the winner team was awarded BAM 15,000.
