Learning objectives
Acquiring basic knowledge about psychosocial work and relevant theoretical directions.
Learning outcomes
Acquired basic knowledge about relevant areas of psychological counseling; knowledge about the advantages/weaknesses of certain theoretical directions; training for choosing a psychosocial approach according to the needs and problems of social work clients; acquiring prior knowledge for deepening knowledge and skills in the treatment of persons who are faced with the problem of psychosocial functioning and the danger of permanent impairment of mental health; personalization for the provision of counseling services in the practice of social work through individual and team work.

Teaching Methods
Teaching in the subject will be carried out by presenting topics in the form of lectures, power-point presentations, working on concrete cases from practice, discussing questions from the subject matter, reading assigned materials, writing colloquiums and papers from pre-examination requirements. The basic subject obligation for all students is regular attendance, reading teaching materials and mastering the pre-examination requirements during the semester.
