Reception for Participants of the Policy-Making Workshop
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe vice-rector for international and inter-university cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, held a meeting on 30 September 2025 at the Rectorate with participants of the Policy-Making Workshop, taking place from 29 September to 1 October at the Faculty of Political Science within the Jean Monnet network “ValEUs – Contestation of EU Values”.
The meeting was attended by Assist. Prof. Nina Sajić, PhD, the head of the network, as well as representatives of universities from the USA, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Italy and Greece. The reception also included students, who shared their experiences of studying at international universities.
Activities of the University of Banja Luka were presented at the meeting, and the discussion also focused on potential cooperation in the field of international cooperation and on advancing the internationalisation of higher education institutions.
This Jean Monnet network is a three-year project that brings together 20 partner institutions from 17 countries and five continents, coordinated by the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), with financial support from the EU. The aim of the network is a critical re-examination of European values through academic research, public debates, summer schools and workshops.
By participating in this network, the University of Banja Luka has further affirmed its role within European academic and social developments.
