A workshop constituting the continuation of work on future scenarios and designing joint activities within the WBC-RRI.NET Horizon 2020 project, in which the University of Banja Luka is one of the members of the consortium, was held on 1 April 2022 at the Faculty of Philosophy.

This is the second workshop in a row, and it was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society, the University of Banja Luka, the business sector and civil society, as well as secondary school teachers.

During this event, they participated in the creation of activities aimed at introducing and improving existing codes and ethical standards in the institutional practice of higher education institutions, improving the teaching approach to gender-inclusive STEAM education. The aim is to introduce the practice of regular storage of research results in a digital repository, and to integrate the criteria of open science and ethics in the inclusion of the principle of open science and ethical issues in the criteria for research project grants.

In addition, possible risks in the implementation of activities are envisaged, as well as measures to mitigate them. The plan is to implement these jointly designed activities from June 2022 to January 2024, in cooperation with the relevant ministries, as well as higher education institutions, secondary schools, economic entities and non-governmental organizations.
