Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, said that the cooperation between the University of Banja Luka and the Students’ Parliament in the previous period was excellent.

,,I expect that this cooperation will continue. The University of Banja Luka will support all rational projects proposed by the Students’ Parliament, but also those that it will propose that we have provided funds for’’, Gajanin said, congratulating on the election of the new composition of the Students’ Parliament.

Minister for Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska Srđan Rajčević assessed that the relevant ministry has excellent cooperation with student representatives, which is important for resolving numerous issues, and expressed hope that this cooperation will be at the same level as with the previous composition and leadership of the Students’ Parliament.

,,It is a pleasure to say that in the past two years, as a minister and the Ministry, we have never had better cooperation with the student population“, Rajčević said.

He pointed out that he talked with student representatives and Rector Gajanin about some effects of the implementation of the new Law on Higher Education and new legal solutions in this area and that they were pleased to note that this law has given the first results in the form of an increased number of newly enrolled students at public universities in the Republic of Srpska.

The newly elected president of the Students’ Parliament, Radovan Jalić, says that he will try to improve the position of students at the University through projects. Those projects, among other things, refer to the „Student Days“ manifestation and the scientific conference „Students Encountering Science’’.

Former President of the Students’ Parliament Nikola Bulović said that 2020 was a difficult year due to the corona virus, and that many projects failed to be implemented because of that, but he hopes that the new composition will succeed in implementing them.
