Learning objectives
Teach content about the basics of online media content and the specific way of writing for this type of journalism. The content of the course is focused on the study of the nature of the web, web design and the internet media audience. Students will be presented with the chronology and impact of internet technology on the structure of media text, on equipping content with multimedia and interactive programs, on the importance of links and visual communication in online media, as well as on the creation of supplementary and additional content in many different genres of online journalism.
Learning outcomes
Students will understand the nature of online media and journalism. They will be able to prepare content for online journalism, as well as independently create basic additional and supplementary content for an online story using the potential of links, infographics, illustrations, and photos. In addition, students will be able to recognize the importance of long texts on the Internet (reports, novellas, essays) and the use of tools for preparing an online story.

Technological development of journalism and media; Development of online journalism; Periodization of online media and their characteristics; Online news audience; Creating and structuring the content of online news and other genres; Web search skills; Writing styles in online journalism; Significance and use of the link; Language in online journalism; Stories in development, additional and supplementary stories; Editing in online journalism; Multimedia and news; Web design and layout of news; Online regulation and legal concerns; New phenomena in journalism on the web.
Teaching Methods
The course is taught in the form of ex cathedra lectures. In addition, interactivity is a continuous goal and method of action of the lecturer. All lectures are presented using multimedia, with the help of computer presentations, films, trailers, audio and video recordings and the like. In the teaching process, 10% of the lecturer's total time can be given to students for independent presentation of the topic.
