Learning outcomes
Students are expected to understand the significance of nonviolent communication in the transformation of conflicts towards a peaceful and constructive resolution, either as direct participants or mediators in conflict resolution.

The philosophy of non-violence speech; Theories and research of interpersonal communication; The concept and characteristics of the group; Group and group processes: group structure, group influence and communication processes Verbal and non-verbal communication; Rational and emotional dimension of interpersonal communication; Persuasiveness - persuasive messages and persuasion techniques; Assertiveness: the difference between assertive, aggressive and passive behavior Non-violent communication skills: active listening skills; Nonviolent communication skills: the skill of "I" speech; Nonviolent communication skills: reframing and summarizing skills; Nonviolent communication skills: the skill of receiving and giving feedback; Nonviolent communication skills: skills in asking open and closed questions; Obstacles in communication; Recapitulation of acquired knowledge and skills of non-violent communication
Teaching Methods
Teaching in the course will be conducted by presenting topics and discussing questions from the subject matter, as well as by reading assigned materials and writing colloquiums and papers from pre-examination requirements. During the exercise classes, work will be done on the acquisition of certain non-violent communication skills.
