A visit by Ambassadors Derighetti and Bronza

The Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, met with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gabriele Derighetti, in the presence of the Ambassador of BiH to Switzerland, Prof. Boro Bronza, PhD.

In the meeting in the Rectorate, they discussed the current and future cooperation of the University of Banja Luka with higher education institutions in Switzerland, with a special reflection on scientific research programs and joint projects.

It was mentioned that the University of Banja Luka already has ongoing cooperation with the Swiss universities through participation in scientific research projects, and that there is a mutual readiness for its further improvement. 

The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rectors of the UNIBL, Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Ranko Škrbić, PhD. 

Before the formal meeting in the Rectorate, Ambassador Derighetti visited the Austrian library at the University of Banja Luka, where he handed over a valuable donation of books in the German language, written by Swiss authors.
