An invitation to a Summer School in Ljubljana

The applications for the Summer School „Labor Regimes on the Fringes of Europe“, which is taking place from 15 to 19 June in Ljubljana, have been opened. It is intended for early researchers, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers in social and humanistic sciences.

During a five-day program, the participants will, through lectures, workshops, and movie projections, discuss the topics of transnational labor regimes, exchange of employment experiences, gender and demographic aspects of working, and various methodological approaches to research.

The organizers of the Summer School are the Institute of Culture and Memory Studies of The Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (IKSŠ ZRC SAZU), in cooperation with the Research Center for the History of Transformations of the University of Viena (RECET UNIVIE), the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka (FPN UNIBL) and Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) in Regensburg, within the project „Enhancing Capacities for Quality and Impactful Research on Transformations, Labor and Migration in Southeast-Europe“ (RETLAMI-SEE), which is financed from the Horizon Europe program.
