Across: Open Call for the “Silvia Gobbato” prize

A Call for the award of the Memorial prize “Silvia Gobbato” was opened within the activities of the Across Alliance.

The prize is based on a joint dedication of partnering universities to provide support to research and initiatives that promote inclusion, equal opportunities, and fight discrimination. The prize was introduced by the University of Udine, thus continuing an academic tradition directed towards equality and culture of non-discrimination, with prominent European and transnational dimensions.

The prize is intended for students who defended their graduation or master's thesis in the field of gender equality, gender-based violence, non-discrimination in education and the workplace, diversity and inclusion, protection of vulnerable groups, and equal opportunity politics.

Students from universities members of the Across Alliance have the right to apply, provided they defended their thesis in the academic year 2024/2025, i.e. not later than 31 October 2025.

The prize is in the amount of 1.000 EUR in line with the Italian legislation, and the laureate will be proclaimed in a formal award ceremony of the memorial prize “Silvia Gobbato”.

Applications may be delivered by mail, in a sealed envelope to the General Protocol of the University of Udine, or in electronic form by means of certified mail (PEC), which has the same legal effect as registered mail with the receipt confirmation.
