Call for papers and participation in the Conference on Librarianship

The Conference “Librarianship in the 21st century: between cultural dialogue and digital domination” will be held at the Students’ Cultural Center of the University of Banja Luka, on 21 and 22 May 2026.

The event organized by the University of Banja Luka is primarily intended for librarians at faculties and universities, and for all librarians, teachers, researchers, students, and experts interested in contemporary trends in librarianship and in higher education.

Conference themes:

  • Are university libraries still the heart of an academic community?
  • A live word and reading culture – contemporary challenges of national libraries

The Conference aims to create a space for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and examples of best practice, and to encourage the strengthening of professional cooperation among librarians.
