UNIBL delegation at a meeting of the working group for developing cooperation with St. Petersburg

The delegation of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) took part in a meeting of the Joint Working Group for developing cooperation between St. Petersburg and the Republic of Srpska on 27 November 2025.

The delegation comprised the Vice-Rector for Teaching Activity, Students’ Issues and Quality, Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, Prof. Biljana Rogić, PhD, from the Faculty of Agriculture, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Maja Travar, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Sanja Tucikešić from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy.

In a meeting held in St. Petersburg, they agreed to cooperate with eminent educational and scientific research institutions from this city, in the fields of medicine and health care, geodetic metrology, agriculture, and natural sciences. They emphasized mutual pleasure with the cooperation so far, as well as the need to additionally improve exchanges of their the teaching staff and students.

They also agreed on further steps in strengthening cooperation in the field of raising the quality of scientific magazines and publishing activity in general.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the St. Petersburg government, competent ministries of the Republic of Srpska, and many universities and scientific research institutions.
