The Rector of UNIBL met with the Hungarian ambassador

The Rector of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL), Prof Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, met with the Ambassador of Hungary, Krisztián Pósa.

In a meeting at the Rector’s Cabinet, in the presence of the Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, Rector Gajanin pointed out that UNIBL already has cooperation with certain higher education institutions in Hungary. He added that the goal is to expand that cooperation through programs of academic and scientific cooperation, exchange of students and staff, and development of joint projects.

Ambassador Pósa expressed his belief that strengthening academic cooperation will contribute to improving relations between Hungary and the Republic of Srpska.

The two have agreed that further advances in international cooperation are of great significance for the development of higher education and scientific institutions and announced the continuation of the dialogue in the future period.

After the meeting, Ambassador Pósa officially opened the presentation of the Hungarian scholarship program “Stipendium Hungaricum” at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka.
