The Best Students Visited Vienna
HighlightsUniversity of Banja LukaThe best final-year students of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) visited Vienna from December 2 to 4 as part of a study trip organized with the support of the Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Austria.
During their three-day stay, the students visited the University of Vienna, the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, as well as a number of important locations through the unique tour “Following the Paths of Serbs in Vienna.” As part of the program, they also attended a formal reception held on the occasion of the event “Days of Krajina in Austria” at the premises of the Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Vienna.
Kristina Marić, a final-year student of the Romance Studies program at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka, with a grade point average of 10.00, shared particularly positive impressions.
“This year’s visit to Vienna, organized by UNIBL and the Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, was conducted at a very high level. I believe it fulfilled its mission—to connect and introduce the best students of our University with our people in the Austrian capital. My impressions are more than positive, and I was especially fascinated by the strong Serbian community in Vienna and their connectedness—not only with one another, but also with their homeland in the Republic of Srpska and Serbia,” Marić said.
She added that the stay in Vienna provided her with new opportunities and important experiences.
“I was given the chance to build new connections and gain experiences that could significantly strengthen my future career,” Marić said.
Representatives of the Student Parliament also accompanied the best final-year students during their stay in Vienna.
