The event “Education Accessible to All” held

The Centre for Support to Students with Disabilities of the University of Banja Luka hosted the International Expert Event “Education Accessible to All”, which was held on 13 November 2025 at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka.

The aim of the event was to improve the position of students with disabilities in higher education, to encourage dialogue and to exchange examples of good practice between academic and administrative staff, employees of student support centres, the students with disabilities themselves, decision-makers and representatives of civil society organisations.

This is the fourth event of this type within the Across Alliance, which is the result of successful and continuous cooperation among the signatories of the Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Action on Improving Study Conditions for Students with Disabilities. The event was co-organised by the University of Banja Luka with the centres for support to students with disabilities of the University of East Sarajevo, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Mostar, the University of Novi Sad, the University of Belgrade, as well as the Coordination of Ombudspersons for Persons with Disabilities for Support in Higher Education of the Republic of Croatia.
