Professor Miljanović Presented His Film in Australia

In the first half of November 2025, regular professor Mladen Miljanović from the Department of Intermedial Arts and Painting at the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka (AU UNIBL), presented his latest film, Final Battle (2024), to an Australian audience. The film was screened at DENDY Cinemas in Sydney.

The screening was organized at the invitation of Curtin University in Perth, and following the screening, a discussion took place between Prof. Miljanović and Prof. Keith Meshum-Muir, who introduced the audience to the creative process behind this artistic work.

On the day prior to the screening, at the SH Ervin gallery in Sydney, Prof. Miljanović gave a lecture and discussion on his recent works as part of the Art of Peace symposium. The discussion was moderated by Prof. Uroš Čvoro from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Prof. Meshum-Muir from Curtin University.

During his stay in Australia, Miljanović was also hosted by UNSW, where he conducted lectures and studio critiques for doctoral students in Arts and Design.

These international appearances and lectures highlight the dedication and relevance of the work of the professor and his colleagues at the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka. At the same time, they represent a significant contribution to the Academy’s efforts to strengthen the global connections of its professors and students with relevant international cultural and educational institutions.
