Professor Milinković at the world conference on bioethics

Full Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Igor Milinković, PhD, participated in the 17th World Conference on bioethics, medical ethics, and health law, which was held in Ljubljana from 24 to 26 November 2025, and organized by the International Cathedra for Bioethics (ICB).

Professor Milinković, who is a member of the International Organizational Board of this conference, delivered two considerations: “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Practice: Rethinking Legal and Ethical Responsibility” and „Legal Framework of Medically Assisted Dying in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, and he moderated one of the sessions in the event.

The conference was an opportunity to look at possibilities of further development of the cooperation between the Faculty of Law at the University of Banja Luka and the International Cathedra for Bioethics, which has already been successful in organizing an international scientific conference “Challenges and perspectives of development of legal systems in the 21st century”.
