Interactive Workshop “Youth for the Energy Future”

An interactive workshop titled “Youth for the Energy Future” was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka on 25 November 2025. The event was organized within the ENPOWER project, in cooperation with the European Researchers’ Night project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aim of the workshop was to engage high school pupils and university students in a dialogue on the future of energy communities and sustainable solutions to energy challenges.

According to the organizers, the workshop was exceptionally well attended, and the participants demonstrated a high level of creativity, engagement, and willingness to exchange ideas. Although it did not have a competitive format, the atmosphere was dynamic and stimulating, enabling open discussions on the importance of sustainable energy, the role of energy communities, and the active participation of young people in shaping the energy future.

This event, the organizers emphasize, once again demonstrated that young people are a key resource for developing sustainable and innovative solutions, and that their involvement in decision-making processes and the creation of future strategies is essential for the energy sector.
