Strengthening cooperation with Warsaw University
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe delegation of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences met with the Vice-Rectors of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, and Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, on 24 October 2025, and discussed the strengthening of cooperation between their university and the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL).
During the meeting in the Rectorate of the UNIBL, they pointed out the successful cooperation of the two universities within the Erasmus+ program and the possibilities of expanding it. It was concluded that there is a mutual interest in deepening the partnership by signing a Cooperation agreement that would intensify the exchange of students, teachers, and administrative staff.
Also present in the meeting were the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Vojislav Dukić, PhD, teaching assistant Srđan Bilić, MA, and the Head of the Office for International and Inter-University Cooperation, M.Sc. Đorđe Kenjalo. The delegation from Warsaw University consisted of the Director of the Institute of Forest Sciences, Prof. Roman Wójcik, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Assistant Professor Michał Orzechowski, and Teaching Assistant, M.Sc. Katarzyna Szyc.
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is one of the oldest agricultural and natural science universities in Poland, with a tradition of over two centuries. Today it has about 16.000 students in all three study cycles, distributed among 14 faculties.
