Rector Gajanin participated in Congress of pathologists

Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, actively participated in the 37th European Congress of Pathologists, which took place in Vienna from September 6 to 10, 2025.

At this prestigious scientific event organized by the European Association of Pathologists, which gathered over 5000 experts from all over the world, Rector Gajanin presented the work “Prognostic significance of the expression of Wnt5A in cervical carcinoma.”

The European Congress of Pathologists is the largest event of the kind in the world, and it brings together pathologists, clinical experts, molecular biologists, genetic experts, bioinformation experts, IT experts, and many others.

The European Association of Pathologists was established in 1963 with its seat in Brussels, and today it is a leading European scientific institution in this field. The Association has more than 5000 active members, 25 working groups and associated entities, as well as 30 national associations of pathologists. The next European Congress of Pathologists will be held from 12 to 16 September 2026 in Stockholm.
