Rector and Vice-Rector at the jubilee of the University of Nova Gorica

The Rector of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL), Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and a Vice-Rector for Human and Material Resources, Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, took part in a formal event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the successful work of the University of Nova Gorica, on 24 September 2025.

In his address, the Rector of the University of Nova Gorica, Prof. Boštjan Golob, PhD, pointed out that the institution is directed towards the future and further development, and it has six faculties and the Academy of Art.

Before that formal event, Rectors and Vice-Rectors from several universities in the region visited the University of Udine. After the reception with the current Rector of the University of Udine, Prof. Roberto Pinton, PhD, and his successor, Prof. Angelo Montanari, PhD, there followed a brief tour of the “Palazzo Antonini”, the seat of the Rectorate, after which they moved on to “Polo Media Lab”, “Lab Village UNIUD”, where rectors were presented laboratory capacities and innovative project.

The visit, which is a part of activities within the Across Alliance, ended with the presentation “Digital Education Hub EDUNEXT” and an educational model “ECOBI”, which was held in the Hub and in Sala Cavalli.

The program enabled rectors to become acquainted with the modern educational and research practices at this Italian university and to exchange experiences with their colleagues from the region.
