Project RETLAMI-SEE: Activities at FPN

The Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka (FPN UNIBL) will host several scientific and technical activities within the Horizon Europe project “RETLAMI-SEE” from 24 to 26 September 2025.

The program includes the 6th Scientific Conference with International Participation “Society and Politics,” and this year’s theme is “Labor and migrations within transformative processes in Southeastern Europe and beyond”. The event will take place on 25 and 26 September 2025 at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka, with local and international presenters, and it is a platform for discussion on labor, migrations, and social transformations in the region.

Particular emphasis through these activities was put on workshops that will be held on 24 September 2025 at the FPN Reading Room. The workshops are intended for beginner researchers, PhD students, and post-doctoral students of the University of Banja Luka. During the workshops, the participants will discuss project applications, strategies of publishing papers in international magazines, and possibilities for academic scholarships and stays abroad. A Forum titled “Challenges of labor-related migrations out of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” as a space to exchange the experiences and opinions of researchers, people affected by it in practice, and decision-makers, will be organized at the Faculty of Political Sciences on 26 September.

The working language of the workshops is English, the scientific conference will be conducted in Serbian and English, while the Forum will be in Serbian.
