Modernizing the teaching process with ANSYS software

A meeting between members of the Cathedra for Temo-mechanics and representatives of the company “eCon Engineering” from Budapest was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka, on 3 September 2025.

The topic of the meeting was possible cooperation that would include the procurement of licenses for ANSYS software, with the aim of advancing the teaching and research activity. As pointed out in the meeting, the proposed forms of cooperation include education licenses for students and teaching staff, organizing training and workshops led by “eCon Engineering”, as well as support in applying the advanced simulations in teaching.

“The introduction of ANSYS tools would significantly contribute to the modernization of teaching content, especially in the field of Thermodynamics, Mechanics of fluids, and heat transfer calculations,” was pointed out in the meeting. Both sides expressed readiness to take concrete steps towards establishing long-term cooperation to the mutual benefit in the coming period.

Company “eCon Engineering” is renowned in the field of engineering simulations, development of software solutions and technical support, and is recognized for its expertise in working with ANSYS software.
