Discussion on strengthening the cooperation with American universities

The Vice-Rector for International and Inter-university Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, met with the delegation of the US Embassy in BiH, led by the Head of Public Diplomacy Section, Sean O’Hara, and American scholars, about the possibilities of future cooperation, on 25 September 2025.

The main topic of the meeting in the Rectorate was connecting the University of Banja Luka with higher education institutions in the USA, with an emphasis on mobility and student exchange.

The meeting was also attended by the two scholars – Nathan Pinson, English Language Fellow at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka for the second consecutive year, and Julie Ann Vasquez, Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, who will begin next year at the Faculty of Philology. 

A visit to the Faculty of Philology

Before the meeting in the Rectorate, the guests talked to the management of the Faculty of Philology – the Dean, Prof. Biljana Babić, PhD, Head of the Study program English Language and Literature, Associate Professor Dejan Milinović, PhD, and the Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation, Prof. Jelena Šajinović Novaković, PhD.
