Strengthening the Role of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

On July 2, 2025, the first official meeting of the Enterprise Europe Network Republic of Srpska (EEN RS) consortium was held at the premises of the "Pupin Technology" Business Center in Banja Luka, marking the beginning of a new phase of cooperation aimed at strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Srpska.

The consortium, coordinated by the Digital Innovation Hub “Onex,” brings together key institutions – the University of Banja Luka, the University of East Sarajevo, the Science and Technology Park of the Republic of Srpska, the Employers’ Union, and the Chamber of Independent Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Srpska. Together, they will provide support in crucial areas such as innovation, internationalization, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

During the meeting, concrete tasks were defined, next steps agreed upon, and experiences and ideas exchanged to foster the advancement of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Network’s activities will span 42 months, and the University of Banja Luka, through its Center for Development and Research Support, will serve as the coordinator of this important project.
