Gold Medal for the Poster by Stefan Mijić

The poster created by Stefan Mijić, MA, assistant at the Graphic Design Department of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka, has been awarded a gold medal in the international competition organized by the renowned New York-based publishing house Graphis, as part of the Poster Annual 2026 edition.

This is one of the most prestigious accolades in the field of visual communications. Founded in 1944, Graphis recognizes and publishes the finest achievements in design, photography, and advertising from around the world.

“Their annual publications – including Poster Annual, Design Annual, and Photography Annual – are regarded as some of the most important professional resources in the design community. Being selected alongside globally acclaimed authors and studios is a great honor and a confirmation of the quality of our work,” the Academy stated in its press release.

Mijić’s recognition represents not only a major personal achievement but also a significant acknowledgment for the Academy of Arts and the domestic visual communications scene as a whole.
