Strengthening Capacities for EU Projects
University of Banja LukaGeneralA two-day workshop dedicated to project management, with a focus on the requirements of the European Union and international donors, was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka, on 10 and 11 June 2025.
On the first day, participants were introduced to the practical aspects of budgeting and financial reporting in projects funded by the EU and international donors. The programme combined theoretical guidelines with hands-on work on real-life examples.
The second day focused on developing specific knowledge and tools for interpreting calls for proposals, tailoring project applications to donor requirements, and establishing effective models of cooperation and partnership in the context of international projects.
The workshop brought together around twenty participants from various units of the University of Banja Luka and was led by Dijana Pejić, Executive Director of the Banja Luka-based civil society organisation Genesis Project.
This activity was organised within the framework of the international project POLICY ANSWERS – R&I policy making, implementation and support in the Western Balkans, aimed at supporting the development and implementation of research and innovation policies in the Western Balkans. The project is part of the Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) scheme.
