Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić at a conference in Mostar

The Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, was one of the speakers at a large international conference “SUNRISE Networking” in Mostar. 

She held a presentation on the topic “The role of university alliance in modernizing the teaching Curricula,” representing the Across Alliance, at an event held on 11 June 2025, and pointed out the significance of European university alliances in the modernization of the teaching process and improvement of the educational system.

Professor Pantelić Babić stressed that networking and cooperation among universities present a necessary precondition for the development of a quality higher education. As she pointed out, alliances of European universities bring numerous benefits not only to students, but also to the academic staff of all universities.

“Networking is an imperative of all universities. Networking brings exclusive benefits, especially since internationalization and cooperation in scientific research activity and teaching are something that goes without saying,” said the Vice-Rector.

In the course of this conference, organized by the University “Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar, there were many presentations and panel discussions that encompassed the theme of the impact of European university alliances on higher education and the wider community.
