Cooperation Established with the Medical University of Vienna

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka and the Medical University of Vienna signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 26, 2025, in Vienna, establishing a framework for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.

The memorandum was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Ranko Škrbić, PhD, and the Rector of the Medical University of Vienna, Prof. Markus Müller, PhD.

According to the statement, the document envisions the exchange of postgraduate students, academic and administrative staff, as well as joint participation in research projects of mutual interest.

The cooperation between the two institutions aims to strengthen international academic exchange and advance medical science. The realization of this cooperation has been supported by the Republic of Srpska and the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, headed by Mladen Filipović.
