On this occasion, Prof. Ostojić emphasised that the exhibition represents an outstanding showcase of the creative energy and artistic potential of young artists, noting that more than 1,000 works in the fields of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, intermedia art, graphic design, and art education methodology testify to the extraordinary diversity and richness of expression.
“As in previous years, during the month of June the campus of the University of Banja Luka becomes the most beautiful place in the city – a space where art finds its fullest expression and becomes accessible to all,” said Vice-Rector Ostojić at the event held in front of the Rectorate and the Academy of Arts in the University campus.
This year, the Academy of Arts continues its tradition of collaboration with cultural institutions, providing young authors with opportunities for visibility and professional development. The opening ceremony was also marked by the presentation of awards to the most successful students of the academic year 2024/25, as well as acknowledgements for exceptional quality and dedication.
The exhibition is displayed across several locations: the building of the Academy of Arts and the Rectorate, the premises behind the Academy, the rooms opposite the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Philosophy, Studio 3.07 of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, and the Gallery of the Student Cultural Centre, where a solo exhibition by Master’s student Dušan Kovačević is on display.
