Across: Our students visited Poland
University of Banja LukaGeneralAcrossA group of eight students of the University of Banja Luka stayed at the University of Technology in Bialystok from 9 to 13 June 2025, at their invitation, within an international cooperation project.
The students were presented with four study areas – forestry, environmental protection, physical education, and psychology – and took part in many scientific, sporting and outdoor activities during a one-week stay.
The study visit started with participating in the 3rd football tournament BUT CUP, where the representatives of the University of Banja Luka competed with students from several countries, who are a part of the international academic community of the hosting institution.
In the continuation of the program, the students participated in a trip to Silvarium in Počopek, organized by the Science on Environmental Protection Club, and the Forester Scientific Club. During the visit, the students got acquainted with forest ecosystems, the functioning of the Birds rehabilitation center, and the plant exhibition. Joint classes with Polish students were a chance to exchange knowledge and experience.
This activity has been realized within the Across Alliance project, aiming at building a joint education space of European Universities. The stay of UNIBL students in Bialystok was financed by the EU, from the European funds for social development 2021-2027 (FERS), through NAWA project under the name “Support to alliances of European Universities.”
