Voronezh Students on Exchange at the Faculty of Forestry

As part of inter-university cooperation, the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka hosted five students from the Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies named after G. F. Morozov. 

During their two-week stay, from 17 to 31 May 2025, the students took part in field classes, professional lectures, and visits to forestry holdings in the Republic of Srpska.

Three of the students are undergraduates, while two of them are second-cycle students. Their stay in Banja Luka was part of efforts to strengthen academic exchange and cooperation in the field of forestry and related disciplines.

In addition to academic and field activities, a visit to Trebinje was organised for the students, where, in cooperation with the College of Tourism and Hotel Management Trebinje, they participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic “The Role of the Russian Language in Contemporary Tourism”.

The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 30 May 2025 at the Faculty of Forestry. The certificates were presented to the students by Prof. Vojislav Dukić, PhD, and Prof. Zoran Govedar, PhD.

This student visit represents a continuation of successful cooperation with partner institutions from the Russian Federation.
