Call for Participation in Online Training on Research Data Management and Open Science

Within the framework of the RETLAMI-SEE project, supported by the Horizon Europe programme, early-career researchers are invited to register for an online training titled: “Open Up Your Research! Research Data Management and Open Science.”

The training will take place on Monday, 2 June 2025, starting at 11:00 CET, and will be held in English. The duration of the session is 90 minutes.

The training will be led by Tillmann Tegeler and Hans Bauer from the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) Regensburg, and is intended for researchers in the social sciences and humanities. The session will focus on research data management, the principles of open science, and the role of academic libraries in supporting researchers.

Examples of good practices from IOS will be presented during the training, including the GeoPortOst platform, digital collections, activities of the Open Science Office, and tools such as LaMBDa.

The application deadline is 26 May 2025, and all registered participants will receive the Zoom access link in due time.
