Abbot of Hilandar Monastery Gave a Lecture at the Faculty of Philosophy

On 25 April 2023, the Most Venerable Archimandrite Metodije, Abbot of the Royal Lavra, Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, gave a lecture at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka. 

As part of a two-day working visit to Banja Luka, on the occasion of the exhibition "God and Man" by Vojislav Bilbija, which was opened in the Banski Dvor on 24 April 2023, and the concert "Hilandar as Inspiration" on 25 April 2023, performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio and Television of Serbia and professors and students of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka, Archimandrite Metodije visited the Faculty of Philosophy. His lecture in the form of spiritual messages attracted many students, professors and teaching assistants of the University of Banja Luka, as well as citizens. The lecture was also attended by the Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs Prof. Strain Posavljak, PhD.

The visit of the Abbot of Hilandar Monastery to the Faculty of Philosophy and his lecture took place thanks to Aleksandar Stjepanović from the Society of Friends of the Hilandar Monastery and Prof. Goran Latinović, PhD.
