Assistant Professor Marko Đukanović Winner of the Danubius Award

Marko Đukanović, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Banja Luka is among the winners of the Danubius Award from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Danubius Award was created in 2011 by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe with the intention to honour persons with extraordinary achievements in their scientific activities and results. Since then, it has been awarded every year, where one candidate is chosen for each of the 13 countries that belong to the Danube region. The goal of the award is to promote the scientific work and talent of young researchers who have defended their doctoral dissertations in the past five years, and to increase the visibility of the scientific community in the Danube region and beyond.
