These are consumers who are far from the power grid, and a typical representative of such consumers is a mobile base station for mobile telephony that is placed somewhere far away,” he said and explained that his and his team's task was to provide the user with information on how many solar panels to install, i.e., what the power of the wind turbine is to have the system function perfectly with the lowest possible costs.

Among the awarded professors is also the dean, i.e., associate professor at the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Marijana Kapović Solomun, PhD.

,,The awards given by the University are an excellent incentive for science and scientific productivity. Through scientific papers, we actually achieve cooperation with the world leading universities,” Prof. Marijana Kapović Solomun, PhD, from the Faculty of Forestry said.

As she stated, the way in which the University of Banja Luka stimulates scientific workers can serve as an example for other higher education institutions.

The conference was organized as part of the activities dedicated to 47 years of successful work and development of the University of Banja Luka.
