The Project „Knowledge Transfer“ Successfully Implemented

The project „Knowledge Transfer“ was successfully implemented as part of a two-day workshop in Tjentište and Trebinje on 10 and 11 May 2021.

The project, funded by the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska, involved the transfer of knowledge between the academic community and employees in tourism for the development of tourism and tourism in the protected area.

As part of the two-day workshop, Đorđe Markez, MA, gave a lecture on the "Methodology for drafting project proposals in the field of tourism in protected areas with an overview of available funds (UNDP, Via Dinarica, IPA CBC BiH - CG and IPA CBC BiH-Serbia)", while Predrag Govedarica spoke about "The impact of historical monuments on the development of tourism in the protected area." During this workshop Prof. Obren Gnjato, PhD, gave a lecture on "Alternative forms of tourism in crisis situations", and Prof. Milimir Lojović, PhD, talked about the "Orien Nature Park - opportunities for tourism development."

The "Knowledge Transfer" workshop was attended by representatives of the academic community, tourism organizations, travel agencies, students and the non-governmental sector, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska.

The event was held in accordance with current epidemiological measures, and all materials will be available in electronic form.
