Rector Gajanin Talked with Ambassador Berjan

Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, met on 11 May 2021 with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Japan Prof. Siniša Berjan, PhD. 

During the meeting at the University of Banja Luka Rectorate, it was agreed that in the forthcoming period the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Japan would organize a lesson in history to talk about the consequences of the use of atomic weapons and the experiences of the Japanese city of Nagasaki from World War II. At the meeting between the rector and the ambassador, it was agreed that representatives of the University of Banja Luka, the University of East Sarajevo and a university from Nagasaki would take part in this event. 

They also talked about the implementation of the recently signed cooperation agreement between the University of Banja Luka and Hankuk University in Seoul. The plan is to organize an initial meeting of representatives of higher education institutions from the Republic of Srpska and Hankuk University soon, at which further forms of cooperation will be agreed. 

Furthermore, they discussed the improvement and establishment of cooperation between the University of Banja Luka and the University of East Sarajevo with higher education institutions in Japan with the support of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Japan and Ambassador Prof. Siniša Berjan, PhD.
