University of Banja LukaGeneral

Erasmus+ online info day for students of the University of Banja Luka was held on 19 April 2021, through the Zoom platform.

The event was organized by the Office for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, and Senior Staff and Student Exchange Associate Đorđe Kenjalo presented to the participants the currently open public call for student exchange. Kenjalo informed them in detail about what documents are needed for the application, what the decisive criteria are when choosing a candidate. He especially emphasized that students who, when applying for the competition, express interest in staying at two institutions, have a higher chance of being selected to go on an exchange.

Evgeny Serebrennikov, a PhD candidate from the University of Granada, who is currently staying at the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka within the Erasmus + programme, pointed out that Erasmus + is one of the most important life experiences and that thanks to this programme he has made friends in many European countries. As he stated, a student who once goes on an exchange through this programme, wishes to do it again.

Milan Pepić is a student at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and is currently staying at the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Crete as part of the Erasmus + programme. According to him, the amount of the scholarship is enough for a smooth stay and can cover all his needs. As for his stay on the island of Crete and his impressions of the exchange, Pepić points to the fact that all his expectations have been fulfilled.

Katarina Salapura, a student at the Faculty of Philology, who is currently staying at the University of Cadiz in Spain, says she is satisfied with the exchange. As she stated, among other things, this exchange will be good for her to further improve her Spanish.

Marko Lončar is a final year student at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka, and is currently staying at Masaryk University in Brno. If given the opportunity, Lončar states that he would apply again for an exchange under the Erasmus+ programme.

Also, the students of our University shared their experiences from the countries in which they stay, which relate to the current epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Let us be reminded that the current call for student exchange is open until 26 April 2021, and more information can be found here.
