Learning objectives
Getting to know geological mapping and its importance. Detailed study of geological map content, methodical procedures for mapping in different geological environments, methods of meking working and final versions of geological maps and interpreters, making of overview, detailed and special geological maps
Learning outcomes
Through the implementation of the teaching program, students will acquire theoretical knowledge about geological mapping and the making of maps with accompanying framework and extraframe content. Through the implementation of the exercise program, students will be trained to construct less complex geological maps that are accompanied by profiles, columns and legends. In this way, the student will be able to understand and apply the acquired knowledge and skills in geological mapping for independent work or in a team composed of experts of various profiles.
