Learning objectives
To Introduce the student with the most important industrial procedures for the synthesis of organic compounds that represent feedstock for most products of the organic chemical industry. To train students to guide and monitor the synthesis of individual raw materials for the organic chemical industry.
Learning outcomes
The student is introduced with the most important raw materials of the organic chemical industry and the ways in which they are obtained and applied.
Synergism of the petrochemical and petroleum industry, Natural gas, Syngas and conversion of syngas into hydrocarbons, Primary petrochemical products, Production processes of etihylene and propylene, Secondary petrochemicals products, Production and application of ethanol, acriylic acid, acrylonitrile, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, vinyl chloride, acetaldehyde, ethylene oxide and others), S4 hydrocarbon products, obtaining aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene-BTX), benzene and its products, Fischer–Tropsch synthesis.
